As we previously reported, Samsung is set to launch an all-new model in the Galaxy S25 series. This device, the Galaxy S25 Slim, will be a design-driven premium phone that will rival Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air. A new leak has revealed more about Samsung’s launch plans for this device.
As revealed by leaker Max Jambor, the Galaxy S25 Slim will not launch at the same time as Samsung’s standard trio of flagship phones, namely the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. Presumably the S25 Slim will launch later this year, perhaps alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 at the Unpacked show in July or August.
The Galaxy S25 Slim has been rumored to be a direct successor to the Galaxy S24 FE. These rumors are likely incorrect, with the source claiming that the “Slim” phone will be a standalone device. Carrying the model number “SM-S937B”, the Galaxy S25 Slim could well be positioned between the S25 Plus and S25 Ultra, with reports also pointing to an Ultra-grade camera.
