Maestro, the hero of “Once upon a time”, enters the Grévin museum

With his long white beard, he is the essential character of the television series “Once upon a time”: Maestro arrives in mid-November 2024 in the collections of the Grévin museum.

After PAW Patrol or, more recently, the characters of Asterix and Obélix, from November 14, 2024, Maestro also joins the collections of the Grévin museum, within the room Heroes of fiction.

Known to several generations, Maestro is the narrator of the educational television series “Once upon a time”. It appeared for the first time in 1978 in this historical and scientific popularization series. Among the best-known opuses of this series of cartoons broadcast on television, one of the best known is certainly “Once upon a time…life“, which offers children a dive into the heart of the body, in order to explain to young audiences how it works, how our cells are created, etc.

Within the museum, Maestro will be installed at his office – as in the cartoon – to offer a interactive experience to visitors and answer their questions, with Nabotanother character from the series. The two characters were created by the sculptor Stéphane Barret, based on the drawings of the illustrator Jean Barbaud: they are to be discovered from November 14at the Grévin museum!
