Xiaomi presented the Pad 7 series in China on October 29, but just like the flagship, the Pad 7 series was presented at a Xiaomi 15 press conference, the two new Android tablets are not yet officially available in outside China. However, if you are okay with importing, you can purchase them from TradingShenzhen.

Of course, there are some downsides to importing devices from third-party stores that you need to consider. One of them is the fact that the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro will ship with Chinese firmware. While HyperOS 2 offers the option to set the system language to English, you will find Chinese bloatware installed, and the experience won’t be completely identical to that of a Global ROM.

Warranty is another important thing to consider. Although TradingShenzhen has a decent warranty policy, you have to return the imported Xiaomi tablet if there is a problem, which can be a bit inconvenient.

As for the price, the base model of the Xiaomi Pad 7 costs $409.18 on TradingShenzhen, while the Pad 7 Pro starts at $506.86. For comparison, these two models were launched in China at a starting price of CNY 1,999 (around $280) and CNY 2,499 (around $351), respectively. TradingShenzhen’s current price is therefore a bit high in comparison, but global variants will likely launch at similar prices.

As for Android tablets, the standard Pad 7 is equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both are mid-range SoCs. higher range, which suggests correct performance. The tablets also feature an 11.2-inch display, an 8,850mAh battery, and up to 12GB of RAM.
