While the French Ministry of the Interior has already warned about the risks of attacks on privacy from this application, Belgian schools are also starting to be wary of it. Ten Ten is the new trendy app among teenagers. It allows you to send voice messages like a walkie-talkie, therefore live and continuously, even when the phone is locked or on silent.

Captivated by social networks, teenagers nevertheless have the feeling, which grows with age, of “wasting their time” on screens

Our colleagues from RTBF report that one of the teachers at the Collège da Vinci in Perwez questioned the school about the use of this application. The school then made the decision to ban him. The management spoke at the microphone of RTBF: “It’s not just about the smooth running of classes. The student, if he does not pay attention to the fact that he has not turned off his smartphone properly, for example, is likely to be a victim from the outside. It is very difficult to control. And then the exam session comes, and that presents a potential danger”

The Perwez school is not the only one to have taken this measure: the Institut du Sacré-Cœur in Nivelles is also said to have adopted it.
