Every year, AMJ presents its youth media conference. This conference is a forum for the exchange of ideas, training and development for young screen media professionals in Canada. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend this unique event, where leading experts will address programming trends and provide insight into the needs and interests of young people. The program includes thematic workshops, conferences, screenings, discussions and meetings with prestigious guests from Canada and abroad.

WAN will be pleased to present its Youth Media conference, which will be held on November 5 and 6, 2024 in Montreal – a one-day conference event followed by another day of viewing the International Youth Awards

The conference is a forum for the exchange of ideas, training and development for young screen media professionals in Canada. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend this unique event, where leading experts will address programming trends and provide insight into the needs and interests of young people. The program includes thematic workshops, conferences, screenings, discussions and meetings with prestigious guests from Canada and abroad.

Alongside the conference’s impressive line-up of speakers, panelists and moderators, the 2025 WAN Andra Sheffer Scholarship winner will be announced, the WAN AGM will take place and board members will will be elected, and finally the WAN Youth Prize will be presented including the 2024 Munich Youth Prizes.

This year the conference will be held in Montreal, Centre PHI THE November 5 and 6, 2024.
