Prepare to set sail alongside Captain Flint, his first mate Billy Bones and his crew of sea dogs in search of a legendary treasure that promises freedom and fortune. With its original narration using traditional comics as a means of expression, Flint: Treasure of Oblivion invites players to immerse themselves in a historically documented pirate adventure sprinkled with fantasy.

A new Flint: Treasure of Oblivion video is available ahead of its December 17 release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This video showcases essential mechanics such as crew management, different weapon types, and unarmed combat, giving players a glimpse of the strategic possibilities that await them.

Crew Management and Archetypes

Assembling the perfect crew is the key to success. Players can recruit legendary pirates such as John Silver and Mary Read, as well as other talented adventurers. With 12 distinct archetypes, including Surgeon, Filibuster, or Helmsman, each member brings unique abilities to the crew.

Archetype Combos Tip: Positioning is crucial! Place two characters of the same archetype side by side in combat to unlock powerful new skills and devastating combos, giving you a decisive tactical advantage.

Weapons and unarmed combat

The fights in Flint: Treasure of Oblivion combines strategy and adaptability. The game features a wide variety of weapons, from sabers to pistols, providing unique tactical options depending on play style. Unarmed combat also allows for brutal actions, such as tackling or crushing enemies, which can be combined with environmental interactions for maximum impact.

A second video, revealing even more game mechanics, will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for even more surprises in the coming weeks leading up to launch!
