Konka claims to have achieved a new world record for brightness areas in a 110-inch 8K display with its new 110A8. The miniLED is said to achieve the best level of detail for its size thanks to its new “pixel-level precision” technology. The massive device is also equipped with a potentially massive integrated audio system from JBL and AI for even better picture quality.

Hisense beat Konka to getting an ultra-premium (and ultra-priced) 110-inch 8K miniLED product on the market, but the latter says its rival will have a crucial advantage when it goes on sale.

The 110A8 is touted as a breakthrough in its high-end category, as it has no less than 230,000“backlight zones“, while the 110UX is touted as having ~40,000 dimming zones instead.

As a result, Konka claims it will have the advantage in reproducing light and shadow on its massive miniLED displays on its massive screen.

All these zones will be controlled by a chipset informed by“advanced AI models ” to ensure potentially advanced image quality.

The 110A8 is also said to offer a“360° immersive surround sound” thanks to no less than 94 watts (W) of integrated audio provided by JBL and an Ultra SoundBar HiFi soundbar to boot.

The potentially revolutionary TV debuted at the 136th Canton Trade Fair, alongside the upcoming Konka 144Hz OLED TV and the 809 100-inch miniLED TV.

The Hisense Class S7 CanvasTV is now available on Amazon
