Aaron Perris, journalist for MacRumors, has just discovered in Apple’s backend code that two new features should be available when Apple Intelligence launches on iOS 18.2, scheduled for the end of the year. The first would be Visual Intelligence, an equivalent of Google Lens designed by Apple capable of giving information to the user on the element pointed by the camera.
During its September keynote, the American manufacturer explained that Visual Intelligence was launched by holding the new iPhone 16 camera control button, suggesting that the function will be exclusive to recent smartphones.
