Recently published details on Weibo confirm that the OnePlus 13 will ditch the optical fingerprint sensor and use an ultrasonic sensor. This will make unlocking the phone faster and more secure.
The cost of the new product will also increase. For the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, users will have to pay 5299 yuan (around $900). For comparison, the OnePlus 12 with similar specifications costs 4799 yuan, but discounts on Amazon allow it to be purchased for $749.99.
The OnePlus 13 will feature an updated BOE main Sony LYT808 of 50 Mpx.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be announced this month in China, after which the phone will be introduced to the international market.
