The International Fair officially launched its 75th edition this Friday October 11, 2024. This year, visitors are invited to look up to the sky, with a captivating theme: space. The Parc des Expositions, in Pérols, welcomes nearly 500 exhibitors until Monday October 21.

The event is organized in five distinct spaces, allowing everyone to find what they are looking for. Gastronomy lovers will be able to discover dozens of food stalls, ranging from local products to more exotic specialties. The “shopping” area highlights demonstrators, artisans and fashion designers, while “home and garden” attracts furniture and decoration enthusiasts. The “better living and information” sector brings together tourism and media professionals to meet the needs of visitors in terms of leisure and information. Finally, the international space allows you to travel through the pavilions of different countries, each presenting its traditions and flagship products.

A fascinating dive into space

The star attraction of this edition is undoubtedly the exhibition dedicated to space, organized in partnership with the Cité de l’Espace. On more than 1,500 m2, visitors can explore the mysteries of the solar system, comets, the Moon and Mars. This vast immersive space has been designed to captivate young and old alike. Interactive activities are planned throughout the Fair, offering the opportunity to create a comet, learn the basics of astronomy or even discover the extreme conditions that reign on the lunar surface.

Every day, conferences are scheduled to explore these themes in more depth. Experts in astronomy and space exploration share their knowledge and debate the major questions linked to the conquest of Space. Science enthusiasts will not miss these enriching meetings, which promise to shed light on many mysteries.

A funfair is also accessible daily at the center of the fair, offering a variety of attractions for young and old. There are bumper cars for family fun, duck fishing stands for the youngest, but also games of skill such as rifle shooting. Gourmets will be able to enjoy various confectionery stands, while an inflatable course and several rides complete the offer for the greatest pleasure of visitors. In addition, the Fair will offer four evening evenings, Saturday 12, Tuesday 15, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October, with extended opening of the exhibition halls until 9 p.m.
