In this RPG adventure, the mustachioed brothers are on a mission to connect islands split apart by a mysterious force. Players will therefore board the Navisthme (half ship, half island) and explore the high seas and its colorful islands.
Trailer Mario & Luigi: Brothership
The new trailer shows a little of the islands that Mario and Luigi will have to explore, but also some mechanics of the game. Since there are two protagonists, certain actions will have to be done by the two brothers (“duo actions” or “Bros .moves”).
The clip also shows a bit of turn-based combat; a good reminder that this is a very different RPG from “platformer” Mario games like Super Mario Odyssey. Be warned!
Mario & Luigi: Brothership releases November 7 on Nintendo Switch.
