Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino gave an interview to Goichi Suda, CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture, in which he expressed his hope that the company would one day try its hand at erotic and violent games.
However, Hino said that this extreme idea is not on the agenda at the moment, as his responsibility as the leader of Level-5 is to continue its various ongoing series and develop new IP with its collaborators. This is what he said:
“If I had to put it in extreme terms, I would go so far as to say that I want to make things like erotic games and 18+ games with violence,” comments the creator with a laugh.
It’s true, there is an “abnormal world” within me, but I try not to venture into it and only do things from the virtuous part of my mind. However, deep down, I really want to visit this abnormal world. »
“I want to go to this dark, abnormal world, and I think I will eventually. Once I feel that Level-5 is stable and I have the possibility to do what I want… I will do it (laughs). »
