The caregivers of the Long-Term Care Unit of the CHFD and the Églantine house are currently benefiting from the advice of two Humanitude trainers visiting the archipelago. Thanks to Humanitude training, they now have new tools to achieve this with kindness and while taking into account the desires and choices of residents.

Since the start of the training, the professionals at Maison Églantine have already noticed an evolution in certain residents. Émilie Yon, nurse at the establishment, is already observing the benefits.

“There are people who have been there for a very long time, we know them, and with this training, we were able to see that there are people who really surprised us. They took steps, they stayed for a very long time standing up, frankly, it was really very enriching both for us and for them.”

Humanitude’s approach is recognized by the High Authority of Health. Thanks to the method’s reference system, 27 structures have been certified in . To obtain the precious sesame, the health and medico-social establishments and home services are evaluated on the basis of 157 criteria.
