These two celebrity ladies don’t seem to be best friends. While pleasantries are often exchanged on the red carpet (at least superficially), the two became actresses Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek apparently filmed having a tense moment at the Balenciaga show in Paris.
Over the weekend, a video appeared online that loudly Page Six was taken on September 30th in the French capital and suggests that Kidman and Hayek would have preferred to avoid each other at the fashion show.

Hayek had apparently planned to work with the singer Katy Perry to pose for the photographers. Kidman seems to want to sneak between the two. What Nicole Kidman and Hayek said to each other is unclear, but after Kidman walked away, Hayek said, “Yes, please. Advice.” Someone – presumably Kidman – then said, “You don’t need that,” to which Hayek replied, “I do.”
The clip caused speculation online. “That moment between Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman must have been very tense,” one user speculates. “Salma was unreasonable when she tried to forcibly turn Nicole’s body, she could have at least looked her in the eyes, but she stuck her whole hand in without patience and people think Nicole is rude. I would do the same,” takes someone protects Kidman’s apparent diva behavior.
Another video shows that Kidman and Hayek later managed to pose as a couple. Kidman rubbed Hayek’s shoulder in a conciliatory manner. However, the latter avoided looking her colleague in the eyes:
