Ralf Schumacher: Cora posts a cease and desist request: “It’s enough”

After his coming out, Ralf Schumacher and his ex-wife engaged in a public mud fight. Now Cora Schumacher has apparently had enough: she is threatening to sue.

“It’s enough now” – Cora Schumacher addressed these clear words to her followers on Instagram yesterday. The War of the Roses with her ex-husband Ralf Schumacher had increasingly developed into a mud fight since his coming out in the summer. Cora Schumacher announced that she now wants to take legal action against him and his new partner Étienne.

In her Insta story she showed that she does everything she can: she shared the entire letter from her law firm over several pages. She has filed a cease and desist declaration against Ralf. The interviews over the past few weeks in particular seem to have taken a toll on Cora. She accuses her ex-husband of lying and slander.

Cora accuses Ralf Schumacher of lying

Specifically, the letter refers to statements made by Ralf Schumacher on Instagram and in an interview on RTL. According to the letter, Schumacher wrote in the Instagram post that Cora had congratulated Étienne and him, but now presented it differently. “I think it’s a shame for Etienne and me that she spreads so many lies. We both just want to be left alone,” it continues. The answer to this in the lawyer’s letter: “This is wrong: Our client has not told any lies regarding you and your partner, especially not ‘so many lies’.” The letter explains that being portrayed as a liar also resulted in financial disadvantages for Cora Schumacher, without giving any further details.

Ralf is also said to have told untruths several times in the interview with RTL presenter Frauke Ludowig, the letter says. There he emphasized that he had been faithful throughout his entire marriage. His ex-wife now apparently denies this, the letter refers to evidence but again omits any details. She is now also contesting a statement made in the interview that Cora prevented the dispute from being settled. Although she blocked Ralf on WhatsApp, she was still reachable via text message and call, the letter emphasizes.

In her story, Cora Schumacher herself followed up again: A screenshot is said to show a phone call with Étienne on August 18th. “I’m slowly no longer able to hear the squirting (poo emoji) in the numerous love interviews, public outings and self- or product presentations,” she writes. She complains that she is constantly being drawn into it as a person. “Why do you think?” Ralf Schumacher has not yet commented publicly on the letter.

Delayed mudslinging

Cora and Ralf Schumacher were married from 2002 to 2015 and have a son together. The separation took place in 2011. Even then there were rumors about Ralf Schumacher’s homosexuality. Even after his coming out, the former racing professional denied that it was a marriage of convenience. He emphasized in interviews that he loved Cora.

Recently, however, tensions had increased. On Monday, Cora Schumacher reported on Instagram that she found out online that Ralf wanted to sell the house they used to share.
