Five strong minutes were enough for AC Milan to secure their third win in a row in Serie A on Friday evening. The Lombards won 3-0 against Lecce, with the goals scored by Alvaro Morata, Theo Hernandez and Christian Pulisic between the 38th and 43rd minutes. In the final phase, Milan defender Alessandro Bartesaghi was shown a red card after a challenge, but this had no consequences for the Milanese team.

With the win against Lecce, the bad start to the season has been corrected for now. Milan was still with two points after three games, and now the club has climbed, at least temporarily, to second place in Serie A. Noah Okafor played no role on Friday evening. The Swiss striker, who missed some good counterattack chances in the derby against Inter Milan on Sunday, missed the game injured.
