Moroccan Adam Bresnu makes the cut, an unprecedented performance for an Arab player

Moroccan Adam Bresnu made the cut at the Hero Dubai Desert golf course on Friday, becoming the first Arab player to play the final rounds of an Elite Series tournament.

Bresnu finished the first two rounds with two shots under par (142 shots), thus entering the annals of this competition.

Certainly, 13 Moroccan players had already made the cut at the DP World Tour, but this is the first time that an Arab player has achieved this performance in an elite tournament.
