In search of defensive reinforcements this winter, Olympique de Marseille is closely interested in young Portuguese left-back Renato Veiga, currently under contract with Chelsea.

Renato Veiga, 21, has participated in 18 games this season with the Blues, mainly in the Conference League, where he distinguished himself under the management of Enzo Maresca. Trained at Sporting Portugal and formerly with FC Basel, the 1m90 player has an atypical profile for a left back, which particularly appeals to Roberto De Zerbi.
