Tuesday, the 9th stage of the Dakar 2025 between Riyadh – Haradh kept all its promises. In cars, Yazeed Al-Rajhi is now the leader of the general classification, even if he did not win. The winner is Nasser al-Attiyah, who, with his French co-driver Edouard Boulanger, won his first victory during this edition. He finished ahead of Guillaume de Mevius (Mini), 2nd at 2’47”. Yazeed Al-Rajhi (Toyota) finished 3’16” behind the winner but he took 13 minutes from Henk Lategan (Toyota), leader of the general classification before the stage. As a result, the Saudi is now in the lead, 7’09 ahead of the South African. The latter experienced a nightmare day after getting lost and suffering punctures.

In motorcycles, Luciano Benavides (KTM) finished ahead of Frenchman Adrien Van Beveren and won his 3rd stage. Sanders (KTM) is still the leader in the general classification. The lead remains occupied by Daniel Sanders (KTM), who finished third. He gained 3’42” from Schareina and is 14’45” ahead of the Spaniard.
