Cyclo-cross is a cycling discipline which is practiced on several types of surfaces: road, meadow, undergrowth… This sport is only practiced in autumn and winter.

The French Cyclo-cross Championship is a major event which closes the season. The riders fight to win the prestigious tricolor jersey, symbol of the national title. This jersey is kept for one year. In this Championship, around 400 runners are expected in all the different events.

Since 1978, Pont-Château has regularly organized high-level competitions and has hosted several international championships, making it a reference in the field.

All eyes will be on Fabien Doubey, defending champion, but the competition will be tough. Clément Venturini, multiple French champion, will do everything to regain his crown. Joshua Dubau and Théo Thomas, respectively vice-champion and bronze medalist in 2024, are also ones to watch.

The defending champion, Hélène Clauzel, will have to fend off the attacks of Amandine Fouquenet and Anaïs Morichon, both determined to climb to the highest step of the podium.
