A few years ago, local artist Kyle Holbrook had created a giant mural in honor of the Heat, in the Wynwood neighborhood, a few kilometers from Miami’s Kayesa Center.

Since then, this fresco has been constantly updated, to keep up with the news (and haircuts) of Jimmy Butler and his teammates. And obviously, the current divorce is no exception to the rule. Passers-by were thus able to discover this weekend that the fresco had changed, making fun of the attitude and desires of the All-Star!

Jimmy Butler’s face with an “I Quit” banner has been added, while a “Clearance: Trade!” » (“Authorization for an exchange”) appeared on his giant portrait.

« Please Pay Me »

On it, the former Bulls, Wolves and Sixers also holds a coffee cup on which we can read “Please Pay Me” in reference to the contract extension which he requested from Pat Riley. Clearly, the fans have chosen their side in the standoff between the player and his managers.

In the meantime, Jimmy Butler is suspended by his club, which is looking for a base for him as quickly as possible.

Except that the proposals would not make the Florida leaders dream, and the Miami Herald assures that they will not exchange the player for the sole purpose of exchanging him, even if it means reinstating their player after his suspension if necessary…
