Club Brugge: the departure of Skov Olsen becomes clearer

Club Brugge could lose one of its best players this winter. Indeed, Andreas Skov Olsen is getting closer and closer to a departure for Wolfsburg.

In the summer of 2022, Bruges did not hesitate to spend 6 million euros to bring in the Danish winger. An investment that the people of Bruges should not regret since Skov Olsen has proven to be decisive in Belgium and in Europe. With 49 goals and 29 assists in 123 games, his numbers are quite impressive.

Inconstant

Skov Olsen is a good player, there is no doubt about that. But he is also a fairly inconsistent player. At times, we even wonder if the former Bologna player doesn’t choose his matches.

Bruges would therefore not be against a departure from Skov Olsen this winter in the event of a good offer. After almost joining Feyenoord last summer, the Dane could move to Germany. Indeed, Wolfsburg would like to recruit the 25-year-old winger this month.

Wolfsburg will soon go on the attack

According to Kicker, discussions will begin between the different parties in the coming days. But before they can make an offer to Bruges, Wolfsburg must sell Baku to RB Leipzig. Once this is done, the German club will be able to secure the services of Skov Olsen.

Mattias Svanberg, his former teammate at Bologna, is eager to play with him again: “Would he be a good reinforcement for Wolfsburg? Yes, I am convinced of it. He is a great player. He has a good left foot and he’s fast.”
