Loaned three times, Denis Dragus permanently left Standard last summer to join Trabzonspor. But a club in which he was rented would already like to get him back.
Denis Dragus has never managed to establish himself under the colors of Standard. Even if he had shown certain qualities, the striker bought from FC Viitrolul in 2019 for 1.8 million euros did not manage to convince his coaches on the banks of the Meuse.
The Romanian striker was therefore loaned out three times. First at Crotone, then at Genoa, which then had the same owners as Standard, 777 Partners, then at FK Gaziantep, in Türkiye.
A period during which Dragus scored 15 goals in 35 matches, which allowed him, after a good Euro 2024 with Romania, to land a transfer to a major club in the Turkish championship: Trabzonspor.
Genoa would like to relaunch Denis Dragus
However, the year of confirmation is more difficult for the native of Bucharest, who has only scored two small goals in 19 appearances since the start of the season. Trabzonspor are reportedly not too happy with his services.
A club in which Denis Dragus has been would already be ready to recover him to relaunch him: Genoa, according to information from the Italian journalist Nicolo Schira. The price for the 25-year-old is estimated at four million euros.
