Former cyclist Pascal Hervé, short-lived wearer of the pink jersey in the 1996 Giro before being caught up in the Festina doping affair in 1998, died on the night of Tuesday December 24 to Wednesday December 25, announced the Union National Association of Professional Cyclists (UNCP). Former amateur world champion, Pascal Hervé ended his career at the age of 37 after a positive test at the 2001 Tour of Italy, three years after being suspended for two months for his involvement in the Festina affair, alongside Richard in particular. Virenque.
