To ensure the security of this meeting and prevent possible disturbances to public order, Étienne GUYOT, prefect of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, prefect of Gironde, took the following measures:
- It prohibits the purchase, sale, transfer, use, carrying and transport on public roads of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles as well as the transport and possession of fuel in public spaces, acids and all flammable or chemical products, in the town of Bordeaux from Sunday December 22, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. to Monday December 23, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.
- It authorizes the interdepartmental direction of the national police of Gironde to use drones equipped with cameras, within the Matmut-Atlantique stadium and its surroundings, on Sunday December 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., to ensure the smooth running of this event. sporty.
- It regulates the movement of supporters of the Stade Rennais Football Club from Saturday December 21 at 6:00 p.m. to Monday December 23, 2024 at 8:00 a.m., with a ban on driving in the city center of Bordeaux within the perimeter defined in the decree as well as on driving or parking near the stadium without having a ticket/voucher.
- Concerning the four buses of supporters of the Stade Rennais Football Club, they will be taken care of and escorted by the police from the Virsac toll to the Matmut-Atlantique stadium in Bordeaux.
Prefect Étienne GUYOT recalls having authorized the holding of this match in the presence of the public in view of the commitments clearly made in the non-aggression pact signed on December 14, 2024 by the supporters associations Ultramarines Bordeaux 1987 and North Gate Bordeaux. In the event of non-compliance with this pact or any new incident, an immediate review of the conditions for the next home matches will take place.
