Last Friday, December 13, the Joyeuse pétanque fuxéenne held its ordinary general meeting at the fuxé restaurant La Tasca, a partner of the club.
A good group of people, almost 40 members, came to take stock of the past season. The awards ceremony confirmed the very good results for this year 2024 which will remain a benchmark year with four Ariège vice-champion titles and one Ariège champion title.
President Christophe Gajan did not hide his pride for all the good results achieved (championships, competitions, activities), thanking the members of the office, the volunteers, the licensees for their various involvements as well as the club referee , Eric Defeyer, requested several times during local organizations at the Capitany bowling alley.
An evening in the presence of Marie-Françoise Garcia (vice-president of the Ariège pétanque committee), Bruno Picazo (president of the Ariège pétanque committee) as well as representatives of the Foix town hall, always present during demonstrations organized at the Capitany bowling alley.
Christophe Gajan concluded this general assembly by wishing that the 2025 season would be equal to that of 2024. See you in January for the traditional 2025 wishes.
