For a week, Miss Curvy from all over France met in Mimizan, location of the 2024 national election. An intense week, emotionally, mentally and physically.

This adventure goes beyond the limits of a beauty pageant, as Miss Curvy vice-president Jessica points out.

What is important is that they can exist. It is things they didn’t understand before Miss Curvy. They forgot themselves because they had experienced difficult things.

The Miss Curvys share their stories with each other during this week of preparation. A way to understand the personal reasons of each participant for engaging in this competition. Audrey, Miss Curvy Centre-Val de Loire, also shares her concerns about this great challenge of successfully conveying a beautiful message of self-love. For her, it’s not just about conveying a message for curvy women, but for all women.

It’s important because I had this need to represent women, to find a model, to try to bring together all women as best as possible because well beyond the competition, I find that it is very important to bring together women among themselves, whether we are a size 42 or a size 34.

For Audrey, all women must unite in the face of their differences. She adds: “ I found in this competition an opportunity to unite all these women and regain confidence in myself. »
