Aurélie Aubert’s appeal to the attention of the Ferrero group was not in vain. First medal in the history of boccia (in the BC1 category) during the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, Aurélie Aubert particularly moved France. Her passion for Schoko-Bons, which her coach had thought of using to motivate her to practice this sport discovered by the general public this summer, very quickly amused viewers.
Always a fan of chocolate, the 27-year-old athlete launched on the show What gamesin the wake of his gold medal: “I hope Kinder will sponsor boccia”. Three months later, her wish will come true, since the Ferrero group, which includes Kinder but also Nutella and Ferrero Rocher, will support Aurélie Aubert.
“She will no longer have to look for funds everywhere”
The Parisian thus confirms that this will become the first Paralympic sportswoman sponsored by Ferrero. Better yet: the agri-food giant will provide financial support for the Los Angeles Games in 2028, in a partnership to be formalized this Wednesday. Travel adapted to “substantial equipment”, all of Normandy’s costs linked to her sport, for her goal of the next Paralympic Games, will thus be covered by Ferrero.

“With my team, we were inundated with messages from employees who told us: “we have to sponsor it””, explains to the Parisian Fausto Rotelli, director of external affairs at Ferrero France. News that will clearly change the daily life of the Paralympic champion. “This partnership allows Aurélie to no longer have to look for funds everywhere to be able to secure insurance for a season,” appreciates Claudine Llop, Aurélie Aubert’s assistant. Here is the para-athlete well beyond the unlimited supply of Schoko-Bons that she must have dreamed of.
