Originally from Quiberon, Fred Danté is today one of the osteopaths who works at En Avant Guingamp. Son of a former Malian international and striker at FC in the early 1970s (Mamadou Danté), the Plérinais obviously did not imagine his life anywhere other than in the world of sport. Thus, over the course of his career, first as a physiotherapist then as an osteopath, he had football encounters with Gervinho, the Touré brothers (Kolo and Yaya) and even Hervé Renard; shared moments of closeness with several football stars, with whom he remained close; experienced from the inside 7 African Cups of Nations (1 with Mali, 4 with Ivory Coast, 2 with Morocco), 3 World Cups (Ivory Coast in 2014, Morocco in 2018 and the last with Saudi Arabia). “ I owe all this to my meeting with Didier Drogba. » A look back with Fred Danté (47) on the day his life changed.
