Under fire from criticism in recent days, Luis Enrique received strong support this Tuesday in the person of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who repeated his total support for the Spanish coach and his project for PSG.

It's a release that was expected and which has the merit of having taken place. While Luis Enrique has been under fire from criticism since the defeat in Munich and the draw against , and numerous indiscretions have come out in the press on tensions inside the Parisian locker room, the Spanish coach has just received support public and supported by its president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

In an interview with Sky Germany, the PSG leader repeated all the good things he thought of Luis Enrique: “In my opinion, we have the best coach in the world at the moment. He is building a project for the future. Results count, but we remain focused on our project”confided Al-Khelaïfi, who had already given a similar speech to the French press on the sidelines of the inauguration of the PSG Campus, before the defeat against Bayern.

“I believe in our project, in our system, in our coach and in our plan”

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who also denied the Salah rumor, reaffirmed his confidence in the new project initiated by PSG since the arrival of Luis Enrique at the club in the summer of 2023: “There are a lot of rumors about players, but we are very clear. We have one of the youngest teams in Europe, if not the youngest, with an average age of 22.5 years. We are building a team for the future with our great coach. We have a long-term plan with this team and this coach. Our players are united and it's a fantastic group with a great atmosphere. »

A way to respond to the latest information concerning a locker room increasingly angry with its coach. “There are always rumors in the media – they want to sell newspapers”added Al-Khelaïfi, before concluding on the subject: “I believe in our project, in our system, in our coach and in our plan”.
