George Russell (Mercedes) will start from pole position in the Las Vegas GP, the start of which is scheduled for Sunday at 7 a.m. (live on RTS 2). Forced to return to the pits after hitting a wall while he was setting an excellent time, George Russell took pole position at the last minute, his third of the season and the fourth for him in F1. The Briton was 98 thousandths ahead of Spaniard Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), second in qualifying.
