Free Practice 2 of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix has just ended. Discover the ranking of this session which had some surprises in store.

As for Free Practice 1, Lewis Hamilton set the best time at the wheel of his Mercedes. He is ahead of Lando Norris and his teammate George Russell. Pierre Gasly is making progress at the wheel of his Alpine. The Frenchman sets the 6th time of the session. This bodes well for Saturday morning's qualifying for France. Esteban Ocon is also progressing. The future Haas driver sets the 12th time. Group shot from the Ferraris. Carlos Sainz is 4th, Charles Leclerc 5th. Good performances also from the Haas. The two drivers of the American team are both in the Top 10 in 7th place for Kevin Magnussen, 9th place for Nico Hulkenberg.

Surprising ranking for Red Bull. Max Verstappen is only 17th in the session while Sergio Perez ranks 19th! We're not really worried about the future quadruple world champion, he will be in the fight on Saturday morning for France for pole position.
