Five million euros is the sum that Club Brugge paid during the summer of 2022 for Ferran Jutgla. If his debut had been promising, the Spaniard is not in good shape this season and has lost his place.

The Spaniard had great difficulty maintaining his level after a resounding debut. The former FC Barcelona player gave the impression of being a real find but very quickly lost his place against the competition.

With Igor Thiago last season, and now Gustaf Nilsson, as well as Romeo Vermant’s increased playing time, Jutgla has gradually been completely relegated to the background to Jan Breydel. This season, in 12 Pro League matches, he has only started once, and has yet to score.

As things currently stand, a transfer seems to be the only solution to break this impasse. According to the Spanish media Sport Newspaperthis could already happen in January.

Other Spanish sources announce that Sevilla FC is very interested in the Bruges striker, who is popular in La Liga. He will have to forget Isaac Romero and Kelechi Iheanacho, two attackers who have not performed well since their arrival.

The potential amount of a transfer is currently unknown. Transfermarkt estimates the value of Jutgla at 6 million euros currently: if Bruges earns this sum, the Club will therefore have made a profit. Ferran Jutgla is under contract until mid-2026.
