Here are the 24 qualified selections

The final list of the 24 qualified selections for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025 Morocco) was officially ratified, at the end of the 6th and final day of the qualifiers, played on Tuesday evening.

“The competition will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, promising a high-flying spectacle,” welcomes the Confederation of African (CAF) on its official website.

Selections “wreathed in glory during previous editions, such as Cameroon, DR Congo, Nigeria, Tunisia, Zambia and South Africa, have confirmed their presence, guaranteeing a first-rate field for this Moroccan edition , underlines CAF.

Among the memorable qualifiers, Botswana which created a surprise by validating its ticket thanks to a heroic draw (1-1) against Egypt. Ranked third in its group before this decisive meeting, the Botswana team defied the predictions and obtained a historic qualification. Zimbabwe, absent from the competition since 2021, also returns to the CAN after securing second place behind Cameroon in Group J.

The Comoros, symbol of perseverance and combativeness during the 2021 edition in Cameroon, are making a remarkable comeback, once again testifying to their spirit of conquest.
