Relegated to the second division at the end of the past season, the women’s section of LOSC is beginning a serious turnaround. The departure of Rachel Saidi, her coach, has just been made official this Thursday afternoon.

Rachel Saidi (36 years old) had been defending the LOSC colours for nine long years, first as a player and then as head of the Lille women’s section in 2019. This season, her goal was to keep it in the elite of women’s football. A missed goal that led to the end of her collaboration with LOSC. This Thursday, during the afternoon, her departure was made official by mutual agreement: “Following discussions between the Club and Rachel Saïdi, an agreement was reached between the parties to ratify the departure of the coach of the LOSC women’s team. The 36-year-old technician, former player with the Mastiffs, will leave her position at the end of this 2023-2024 season.we can read in the press release published today.

The technician, with five and a half years of experience, can now turn to new projects: “It’s a club that made me grow as a player and coach”, she told us recently, a symbol of the beautiful shared history written among the Mastiffs. Good luck Rachel!
