The French team will play its qualification for the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan/Cortina at the end of August in Riga, Latvia. 35 players were preselected by Yorick Treille, new coach of the Blues.

The French team will meet in Méribel from July 25 to 29 for a first week of training. The Blues will then meet in Sarpsborg, Norway, for the last week of training. Two matches against Norway, which will also prepare for its TQO, are scheduled for August 23 and 24. Yorick Treille’s men will then fly to Riga on August 25 to compete in the Olympic Qualification Tournament. By finishing first in the group made up of Ukraine, Slovenia and Latvia, the Blues would qualify for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina!
