In view of the coming season in Ligue 1, ASSE must strengthen itself. The club has a transfer window of €10 million for this, more than half of which should be used to recruit an attacker.

Saint-Étienne is experiencing a lively transfer window in terms of departures and arrivals. In the midst of reconstruction, the club does not have a big budget and will have to be intelligent during the transfer window. With this in mind, the club is looking at players at the end of their contract in their club, to be able to recruit them at a lower cost.
The name of Mady Camara had been mentioned in particular, but the club was overtaken by PAOK. The name of Younis Abdelhamid, free of any contract at the end of the month, is also a track which is of great interest to ASSE. Although the club seems to have a head start in the matter, the former Reims defender is however being courted by several other Ligue 1 clubs such as Lille and Brest. Concerning the offensive sector, Alimani Gory would represent a good opportunity for the Greens.
An interesting deal for the Greens
Having started 24 times this season, Alimani Gory has been more than decisive with Paris FC where he scored 7 goals and delivered 8 assists. At the end of his contract at the end of June, the 27-year-old striker is an interesting profile for Saint-Étienne. He is a versatile player, capable of playing on the left, on the right, but also in the number 9 position. His preferred position, however, remains the left side.
According to journalist Laurent Pruneta, Alimani Gory would not be interested in an extension with Paris FC and should leave the club in the coming days. According to the journalist, Paris FC would have received a big offer from a Ligue 1 club which could be Saint-Étienne. If the information is correct, the Greens could pull off an interesting move. However, they will have to be convincing, the player is also being courted by clubs in the English second division as well as the Emirates.
