Like Maxence Rivera and Mickaël Nadé, Aïmen Moueffek is at the end of his contract with ASSE. A pure product of the Greens training center, the Moroccan international hopeful remains in the dark regarding his future. At the microphone of BeIN Sport, the player did not hide his desire to stay at ASSE.
“It’s incredible, it’s an immense source of pride. We went down two years ago, we had to get the club back where it belongs. We especially thank the supporters. I want to extend it. Now that the season has passed and the objective has been achieved, we will sit down, discuss, and think about my future. But hey, it will be later, for now, we will celebrate. Thank you to everyone, to our families, to the green people, to all the supporters who followed us, especially outside and who have been behind us all year. All this today is for them and we thank them again. I think it’s my 13th year here, I arrived at 11, I’ve seen it all. I was a ball boy, a supporter, now I’m a player and I build the club. It’s a source of immense pride and I’m super happy. »
Decisive meeting to come
According to Foot Mercato, the outcome would be closer than ever for Aïmen Moueffek. The Franco-Moroccan has a meeting with the new leaders:
“According to our information, the versatile midfielder, who is at the end of his contract at the end of the month, will soon meet with his managers to take stock of his future. Aïmen Moueffek is not against extending his adventure with the Greens and continuing his progress in Ligue 1. But he already has around ten offers on the table and this next meeting will be decisive for his future. But ASSE has the means to convince him to stay. »
