Club Brugge knows how to sell its players well. We saw it again last summer with the sales of Igor Thiago (33M) and Antonio Nusa (21M). In the months to come, other players are expected to bring in several million euros for the Blauw en Zwart.
De Cuyper on the start?
Maxim De Cuyper is certainly one of the Bruges players most followed abroad. It must be said that the Red Devil has had a string of good performances and has become one of the best in his position in Belgium. Last season, the 23-year-old played a big role in Club Brugge winning the title.
Last summer, De Cuyper could have already left his favorite club, but he ultimately decided to stay one more season in order to play in the Champions League.
AC Milan seeks successor to Théo Hernandez
Brugge is, however, aware that it will not be able to retain its left-back forever. According to TuttosportAC Milan would be ready to sign De Cuyper next summer if Théo Hernandez decides not to extend his contract. The Milan club wants a young and reliable player, two boxes that the Belgian player ticks.
De Cuyper, however, is not AC Milan’s number 1 target. Indeed, the Rossonneri would like to sign Fabiano Parisi as a priority. The Milanese could even offer a loan with an option to buy for the Fiorentina player in January. If this fails, Milan will then focus on the tracks leading to De Cuyper and Patrick Dorgu (Lecce).
For its part, Bruges is ready to negotiate with AC Milan. The two clubs have enjoyed good relations since the transfer of Charles De Ketelaere in 2022.
