The operator Salt recorded an increase in revenues and profitability between January and the end of September, thanks in particular to the gain of new subscribers for mobile telephony and combined offers and price increases.
The total turnover of this subsidiary of Matterhorn, controlled by Frenchman Xavier Niel, increased by 2.4% over one year to 838.3 million francs, while gross operating income (Ebitda) increased by 1.7% to 434.2 million, according to a company press release published Tuesday.
The Ebitda margin, on the other hand, fell by 0.3 percentage points to 51.8%.

These results were driven, in the third quarter, by the gain of 40,000 private and business customers in mobile telephony. Over the first nine months of the year, Salt gained 112,000 new customers in this segment, up 20% year-on-year, for a total of 1.7 million subscribers.
In its combined offering – internet, television and landline telephony – the firm has grown to more than 250,000 customers.
After opening two stores in Geneva and Zurich, the operator will continue to expand its network of branches in Switzerland.
