The Taupont players (Morbihan) returned from Saint-Servant with a 3-2 victory on Sunday November 10, 2024. A great operation knowing that at the same time, the C du Ploërmel FC lost to Ussac, the leader of D1, with a score of 3-0.
“We are doing better than last year and the year before in the first six matches, because we have five wins and one defeat which from an accounting point of view is positive, with four away matches,” explains Stéphane Dugué.
A promising start to the season despite absences
Knowing that the current team remains young with strong potential, Aurore de Taupont can still see a little further in the weeks, months and years to come.
“We have had a mixed preparation and I have noted significant absences and injuries which unfortunately do not stabilize the group. But, the workforce is of quality and those present are motivated. They want to do better than last year, that’s our goal. »
See you in the cup on Sunday
Ce Sunday November 17, 2024, the greens and whites receive Peillac who is 8e of its D1 group, as part of the Kitten Trophy. A meeting which should help the Aurore de Taupont to maintain its good momentum.
“The cut allows us to put things in place and rotate the squad. These are important matches, because it avoids friendly matches and receiving in the cup must be an additional source of motivation. I know that our opponent will not make our task easy and will come to continue their adventure. It’s up to us to be the bosses at home. Coming up against other opponents, only the cup allows it, that’s why it’s important to play everything at our level,” underlines the coach.
