President of the Senegalese Federation of Equestrian Sports (FSSE), Ibrahima Wade drew positive results from the 2024 edition of the Senegal national championships.

It’s a grand finale according to the president of the FSSE, Ibrahima Wade. The boss of Senegalese equestrian expressed his satisfaction at the end of the 2023-2024 season before declining the agenda for the next financial year but also the Youth Olympic Games in 2026.

“It’s the apotheosis!” We ended the season in great style with the President Bassirou Diomaye Faye Club Cup. Many clubs were able to participate in the games and the competition was fiercely contested until the consecration of the Cercle de l’Étrier. This is an opportunity for me to congratulate all those involved in Senegalese horse riding. I am obviously thinking of the riders, of the young athletes who have rewarded us with great performances but also of the seniors (…) The next challenge is the preparation of the athletes for the YOG 2026. At the start of the year we did an internship with 16 riders before to bring out a cream of 6 riders (3 boys and 3 girls) that we follow. We will continue the momentum during the 2024-2025 season to move towards the final of the World Jumping Challenge in December 2025 and February 2026. We are on the right path, now we will rest, review our texts and prepare our agenda for next season.”
