The 21-year-old from Zurich set the 3rd time in the heats in 3’49”99. The Austrian Felix Auboeck was the fastest in 3’48”86.

Her younger sister Vanna (18 years old), 10th over 800 m and 22nd over 200 m in these European Championships, will compete in her first international final in the elite. She achieved the 8th time in the heats in 4’17”46, thus improving her personal best by six tenths of a second.
