The first information regarding the new design of the Moulay El Hassan stadium in Rabat, which will be two-dimensional, has been revealed as part of the first preparations for the launch of the stadium reconstruction project.
This project will be carried out with a budget of up to 656 million dirhams, allocated for this purpose by the authorities of Rabat, over an area of approximately 2.7 hectares, with a capacity of up to 22 thousand spectators and a complete coverage of the stadium, and the work is expected to be completed within 8 months.
The stadium, which will be reconstructed using an innovative two-dimensional architectural design, will meet the needs of the public and modern sports teams, strengthening its position as a leading sports destination.
This project is part of efforts to develop sports infrastructure in Morocco and improve the experience of fans and athletes, with a view to hosting the 2025 African Cup of Nations and the World Cup. World 2030, in addition to other sporting events.
This major investment is expected to help create new employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy through project-related activities.
