The conviction of Gérard Lopez is not really a surprise, since the 52-year-old businessman had agreed to take part in a preliminary admission of guilt procedure.
His lawyer was satisfied with “a sentence with limited consequences” in a press release addressed to our colleagues. He is also pleased that his client has the possibility of continuing his activities in France and abroad “without any restriction”.
