The Provençal leader will meet in the Basque Country during the 10th day, which will begin this Thursday with the Agen – Montauban poster.
Having moved to the top of the rankings for the first time at the end of the 10th day, Provence Rugby will have a perilous trip to Biarritz on Friday in a Pro D2 championship that remains as tight as ever.
Provence Rugby is certainly in the lead but has the same number of points (31) as Grenoble and Montauban at the end of the first ten days. One of these three teams could therefore well spend the one-week break without a match at the top of the rankings. After mixed first matches, all three have momentum on their side: each has lost only once in the last five days.
Behind the leading trio, an ambitious peloton is led by Brive (29 points), in which we also find Biarritz (27 points), which hosts the leader. The Biarrots will want to redeem themselves after their last defeat at Mont-de-Marsan, 13th before the match against them.
For their part, the Grenoblois receive Soyaux-Angoulême (26 points), while Montauban travels to Agen, in mid-table, during the advanced match on Thursday. Brive, who have won just once away from home this season, have the opportunity to improve their record by going to Nice, currently 15th out of 16 teams.
The matches are exceptionally played over three days with the Dax – Mont-de-Marsan match which will be relocated on Saturday to Bayonne, at the Jean-Dauger stadium.
