”Why don’t you cancel the France/Israel match and the Shame Gala, organized by the ‘Israel is forever’ association? ”, launched La France Insoumise MP David Guiraud against the French Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, whom he accused of being ”accomplice of the genocide in Gaza”.
Speaking in plenary session at the Assembly, the MP said: ”Mr. the Minister of the Interior, you, usually so quick to communicate, you were very discreet when our French gendarmes were arrested by Israeli police officers in the area of Eleona, in occupied Palestine.
”Emmanuel Macron and Michel Barnier, don’t forget Thursday, while you applaud the team representing a country that is committing genocide. Don’t forget, don’t forget, that in Gaza there are no more football fields. However, the Israeli team still shoots, but into the children’s chests! Don’t forget that in Palestine as in Lebanon, the strikes are aerial and that they massacre innocent people!”, added David Guiraud.
”It will never be moral, nor normal, nor even reasonable to welcome Israel with open arms in the midst of genocide,” denounced the rebellious MP.
The League of Nations meeting between France and Israel, Thursday November 14 at the Stade de France, is placed under very close surveillance, after the banner of support for Palestine displayed at the Parc des Princes last Wednesday, during the Champions League match between PSG and Atlético de Madrid, and the recent events occurring on the sidelines of the meeting between Ajax Amsterdam and Maccabi Tel-Aviv, in the Dutch capital Amsterdam, which became a scene of violence between supporters of the Israeli club and pro-Palestinian sympathizers.
According to the Paris police chief, Laurent Nuñez, 2,500 police officers and gendarmes will be around the stadium and 1,500 in the streets of the Parisian capital and transport.
The Jewish state has advised its nationals not to attend.
