In the night of November 5 to 6 last, the firefighters of Saint-Ouen-des-Alleux (Ille-et-Vilaine) received a paged call at 11 p.m. Reason: a home birth.

A fourth birth in the history of barracks. The team was made up of Sergeant Erwan Monfort, head of equipment, Corporal Julien Ruffault, driver of the VSAV and sapper 1st class David Gallais.

Élodie says:

At 10 p.m., the contractions were more frequent, we had thought about leaving early. Fabrice took Baptiste to a daycare. My water broke and I called the fire brigade. Everything went well, that's the main thing.
