Chelsea legend is looking for a lethal club.

Frank Lampard, ex-player and ex-coach of Bluesis officially a candidate to become a coach again. This time, it is on the lawns of Coventry City FC in the Championship that he wishes to settle down. The former Everton boss is just one of 60 candidates identified for the role, which was vacant following the dismissal of Mark Robins last Thursday following a 2-1 home defeat to Midlands rivals, Derby County. Robins had been in charge for seven years.

Response after the truce

Coventry owner Doug King told Sky Sports: « We haven’t done anything yet in this process… but as we are on international break, we will evaluate all applications. We’ll make a shortlist, and we’ll move forward from there. » Lampard has been out of office since his interim stint as Chelsea manager ended last year, his second spell at the London club, where he made 648 appearances as a player.

And then he only had to be a Coventry legend to get a pass.
