On February 10, 2023, this family's life has been turned upside down. In their car, a father, his son and his sister-in-law, 6 months pregnant, were victims of a road accident on departmental road 372, near Villers-en-Bière (Seine- et-Marne). In the car opposite, comedian Pierre Palmade tested positive for cocaine. More than a year after the collision, the father spoke about his son's health.
On November 20, Pierre Palmade is expected before the Melun criminal court to answer for count of “unintentional injury” committed under the influence of drugs. A trial eagerly awaited by the victims of the road accident and their loved ones. In front of the cameras of Sept à Huit, the father spoke about the consequences of this accident on him and his son, 6 years old at the time.
Pierre Palmade affair: the father confides in his serious health problems
This Sunday, November 10, TF1 journalists gave the floor to Yuksel Yakut, father and driver of the car hit by Pierre Palmade. Since the road accident, the 38-year-old man explains that he has been living with pain.intense” on a daily basis. “II had surgery on my stomach, shoulders, legs, feet. I have such intense pain that I am exhausted and I feel like my brain is going to explode”.
A year and nine months after the collision, his life seems to have taken a new turn, far from the one he had imagined. “When I walk, the patches in my legs cause me a lot of pain. Even when washing and walking,
I need to ask for help to my loved ones”. The father's state of health also concerns him. “I don't know what the future will be for my son and me. Will I be able to work again one day, will I stay in this state? I don't know”.

Pierre Palmade: the little boy's state of health concerns 1 year after the car accident
On the day of the accident involving the collision with Pierre Palmade's car, Yuksel Yakut was accompanied by Mila, her sister-in-law aged 27 and pregnant with her first child. The shock was so violent that the young woman lost her unborn baby. As for the father's son, Devrim, the consequences on his health were terrible, he confided to our colleagues. “My son is not doing well at all”, he asserts.
“He doesn't want to go out anymore because of the scars on his head, he is in constant pain (…) He can no longer stand the sun or the cold (…) When he eats, his jaws get tired very quickly” evoke Devrim’s father. A complex situation which continues at school, according to Yuksel Yakut. Indeed, the little boy's teacher would have described the child's “panic attacks” and his difficulty concentrating in class.
Trial of Pierre Palmade: the anger of the victims of the collision
So much trauma and pain which pushed the father to feel a form of anger against Pierre Palmade. For him, the 56-year-old comedian, “turned (their) lives into hell”. “I only want one thing: let him pay for what he did”, he demanded in front of the camera.

Pierre Palmade's trial will begin on November 20. The former sidekick of Muriel Robin and Michèle Laroque risks up to 14 years of criminal imprisonment in this case. For his part, the former comedy star wanted to distance himself from the media and is awaiting the court's decision. “He no longer fears going to prison. He understood that he has a debt to pay towards a damaged family, towards a country, towards his public”, explained a close friend.
